Job summary

Delta Controls Inc. seeks a Buyer (In-Plant) to work on-site at a designated customer facility in Dallas, TX. You will manage material purchases, purchase orders, confirmations, and supplier coordination to support real-time production and planning needs.

Engineering background and extensive field device/BAS experience are required, with NDA execution prior to starting. The role follows a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule in-office at the customer site.

Qualifications

• Engineering background (degree, diploma, or equivalent hands-on technical experience) preferred, given the technical nature of the customer s product line.
• Working knowledge of field devices (sensors, actuators, controllers, thermostats) to evaluate specifications and support discussions.
• Extensive experience in the building automation industry, including familiarity with BAS/BMS and suppliers.
• Understanding of ERP or MRP systems with MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of materials and suppliers to meet production objectives.
• Analyze quotes, cost, and product availability; initiate purchases.
• Negotiate best achievable material pricing and terms.
• Ensure components are delivered timely and expedite as required by POs.
• Serve as on-site procurement liaison for customer teams and resolve supply issues.
