Jobot is seeking an experienced Building Automation Service Technician in Dallas, TX, to troubleshoot, program, repair, and optimize DDC/BAS control systems on-site. The role emphasizes hands-on field work and collaboration with engineering and project teams on complex issues.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in building automation, strong diagnostic skills, and familiarity with Niagara N4 and other major platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in building automation, DDC, BMS, or HVAC controls.
• Strong BAS troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience programming or modifying DDC control systems.
• Understanding of commercial HVAC equipment and sequences.
• Experience with controls communication and system integration.
• Familiarity with major platforms (Niagara N4, Honeywell, JCI, Distech, ABB).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair BAS/BMS and DDC systems.
• Identify issues with controllers, networks, sensors, and HVAC control sequences.
• Perform programming and software modifications as needed.
• Support system integrations and communication protocols.
• Perform preventative maintenance and optimization.
• Document service work and communicate findings clearly.
