Delta Intelligent Building Technologies (Canada) Inc. seeks a Buyer (In-Plant) to coordinate procurement at a customer facility in Dallas. You will manage POs, confirmations, expediting, and supplier interactions to support real-time production and planning needs in a technically complex building automation environment.

Engineering background and hands-on knowledge of field devices are required. The role follows a standard M-F 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule on-site, with NDA obligations and strict

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma preferred due to technical product line.
• 3+ years purchasing experience in building automation preferred.
• Working knowledge of field devices and BAS/BMS systems.
• Experience with SAP or ERP/MRP systems and MS Office.
• Ability to work on-site at customer facility in Dallas, TX three days/week.

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio of materials and suppliers to meet production objectives.
• Analyze quotes, cost and product availability; initiate purchases.
• Negotiate pricing and payment/delivery terms.
• Ensure on-time delivery of components; expedite as needed.
• Escalate supply issues promptly with on-site teams.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with NDA terms.
• Identify new sources of supply and support cost reduction.
