Ledgent in Tampa Bay is seeking a detail-focused Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records in a structured environment. This onsite role requires ownership, the ability to juggle multiple priorities, and minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include full-cycle accounts payable, bank and credit card reconciliations, month-end close assistance, payroll support, audits preparation, and ERP-system data entry.

Formación

• 3+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or finance experience.
• Demonstrated employment stability and a consistent accounting background.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.
• Experience working within an ERP or computerized accounting system.
• Comfortable handling multiple accounting functions simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Full - Cycle accounts payable, matching/batching, GL Coding
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts
• Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting
• Review transactions for accuracy and proper coding
• Manage vendor payments and employee expense reimbursements
• Support payroll processing and related recordkeeping
• Prepare schedules and documentation for audits and tax filings
• Monitor account activity and research discrepancies
• Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives
