You will read blueprints, align components, and use hand and power tools, testing vessels and inspecting fittings to ensure leakproof joints. Responsibilities include welding, rigging, cutting, and fitting boiler parts, with a focus on safety and precision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in industrial planning and scheduling.
• NCCER certification, TWIC card, and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Examine boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, or vats to locate defects and repair.
• Bolt or arc welds pressure vessel structures and parts.
• Inspect vessels or components for defects.
• Repair or replace defective parts using tools and equipment.
• Attach rigging and coordinate crane or hoist operations.
• Install accessories and align boiler frames according to blueprints.
• Study blueprints to determine locations and dimensions.
• Work safely at elevations and handle heavy loads.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain attention to detail.
