Job summary

InfuSystem is seeking a Biomedical Technician I for on-site service in Rochester Hills, MI. You will test, repair, perform preventive maintenance, and document actions in the CMMS to maintain device performance and safety. The role emphasizes 5S, regulatory training, and customer-focused problem solving.

You will input work orders, track device history, and collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality service and timely responses to patient needs.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting and repair in electronic or mechanical devices experience and/or training.
• Exceptional verbal and communication skills and strong organizational skills.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to add, subtract, and match numbers.

Responsibilities

• Daily servicing of medical devices.
• Maintain QA/QC standards while meeting production goals by adhering to established protocols and collaborating with team members.
• Delivering cost-effective and timely maintenance of medical devices to meet customer needs.
• Recording key details of service actions and observations regarding devices conditions and operations.
• Inputting work orders into the CMMS with correct parts, labor, equipment and performance results.
• Comprehend and implement 5S workplace organization.
• Ensure completion of annual compliance training to maintain regulatory standards.
• Provide feedback to leadership regarding device/process issues to improve quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a select range of device models.
