Zusammenfassung

InfuSystem is seeking a Biomedical Technician I to service medical devices, perform testing and repairs, and maintain device history in our CMMS system. You will help uphold QA/QC standards and provide timely maintenance to meet customer needs in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Ideal candidates will have troubleshooting skills, a high school diploma, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, with a focus on accuracy and patient safety.

Qualifikationen

• Troubleshooting and repair in electronic or mechanical devices experience and/or training.
• Exceptional verbal and communication skills as well as strong organizational skills.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include word, excel and outlook.
• Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Aufgaben

• Daily servicing of medical devices.
• Uphold QA and QC standards while meeting production goals by following protocols and collaborating with team members.
• Deliver cost-effective and timely maintenance of medical devices to meet customer needs.
• Record details of service actions and observations to build device history.
• Input work orders into CMMS with correct parts, labor, equipment and performance results.
• Implement 5S workplace organization.
• Complete annual compliance training to maintain regulatory standards.
• Provide feedback to leadership regarding device/process issues for continuous improvements.
• Stay flexible and share knowledge to meet customer expectations.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a limited range of device models and expand pump model expertise.
• Perform basic repair assessments and provide initial cost estimations.
• Troubleshoot medical devices to identify malfunctions and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform other related duties to support department goals.
