Job summary

PepsiCo seeks an entry-level skilled technician for installation, setup, repair and maintenance of vending, cooling and fountain equipment at customer accounts. The role involves diagnosing issues, independent work, and customer contact, with Pepsi Pro certification required within the specified timeframe.

Position requires lifting up to 45 pounds repeatedly, possible 800-1200 pound machines, and a Tuesday-Saturday schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical troubleshooting and repair of appliances or similar equipment.
• Ability to communicate with customers and store managers.
• Understanding of basic electrical circuits and plumbing connections.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on marketing equipment
• Unload and reload with products as necessary
• Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep procedures
• Install equipment by routing lines and connecting utilities
• Fill installed equipment and adjust to proper mixture
• Drive to locations and perform necessary work (plumbing, electrical, refrigeration)
• Maintain parts inventory on service truck
• Establish positive relationships with customers during service calls
• Complete documentation after each call in the service system
