Job summary

Optibelt is seeking a Belt Fabricator for an on-site role in Bartlett, IL. The position runs 8 am-4:30 pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours). Pay ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, with a $150 monthly performance/attendance bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manufacturing machinery and performing hands-on work.
• Ability to work in a team and also independently.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Punctual, dependable and well organized.
• Able to understand basic math and English for safety procedures.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage work orders for belt fabrication.
• Handle, retrieve, and distribute production materials.
• Identify and implement corrective measures to uphold quality standards.
• Operate machines to grind, weld, cut, and shape belts.
• Inspect finished products for conformance to specifications.
• Follow safety guidelines for all tooling and equipment.
