Belt Power LLC is seeking a dependable Fabricator/Installer in Illinois to perform on-site installation, splicing, repair, and fabrication of conveyor belting products. The role involves travel to customer sites and some shop work, with emphasis on quality workmanship and professional service.

Qualifications

• Strong organization, prioritization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret and verify precise measurements using a tape measure.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights or in tight spaces.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Technical or mechanical training preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in technical installation, fabrication, or industrial maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, splicing, repair, and fabrication of conveyor belting products and components.
• Conduct pre-installation calls with Sales Representatives and customers to confirm scope and timelines.
• Complete post-installation follow-up calls to review work and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage installation calendar, travel schedule, expense reports, and installation tracking documents.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good condition.
• Identify customer needs such as reorders or maintenance opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales Representatives and Regional Management, sharing field feedback.
• Keep accurate documentation of service visits, installation reports, and system updates.
• Participate in safety and technical training to build skills.
• Travel for in-state and out-of-state service work, including overnight travel.
