Job summary

Optibelt Corporation in Bartlett, IL is hiring a Warehouse Associate for the morning shift (6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.) on-site. The role involves loading/unloading, assembling orders, and maintaining accuracy and safety in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The position offers full-time hours with benefits and potential monthly bonus based on performance and attendance. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work with standard SOPs.

Qualifications

• Punctual and dependable, with reliable attendance and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places on pallets or shelving and transfers to packing/shipping.
• Counts and sorts materials according to size, type, color or product code.
• Makes material marks for shipping/receiving.
• Maintains a clean work area.
• Follows SOPs and JSAs; supports quality control to prevent damaged products.
• Operates forklift as directed after training and certification.

Core duties and responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department
• Counting, Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code or packing products
• Marks materials with identifying information for shipping and/or receiving
• Cleans and maintain a clean work area
• Operates within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
• Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out operating splicing and/or cutting machine
• Driving a forklift (as directed by the Supervisor, we provide training and certify our drivers)
