Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support Air Force programs with hybrid cloud deployments in Microsoft Azure, IaC automation, and DevSecOps practices. The role requires on-site work, with Omaha, NE as the primary location and flexibility for nearby candidates.

You will join a team delivering secure cloud solutions and 24x7 monitoring. Ideal candidates have Azure certification, DoD security requirements, and hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Active DoD 8140 compliant security posture or equivalent certification.
• Experience deploying cloud infrastructure in Azure and other clouds.
• Hands-on IaC tooling (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage hybrid cloud infrastructures in Azure (IaaS & PaaS).
• Automate deployments with IaC and configuration-as-code tools.
• Provision and scale cloud resources across environments with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor usage for cost efficiency and performance; troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure security, compliance, and DevSecOps integration across pipelines.
• Support CI/CD and implement containerization/orchestration for microservices.
