Job summary

Qualifications

• US Citizen with an active Top Secret security clearance or ability to obtain SCI prior to start date.
• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience or Master's with 2+ years; additional years accepted in lieu of degree.
• Must have DoD 8140 Intermediate certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
• Azure certifications such as AZ-104 or equivalents from other cloud providers.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, OpenStack) and multiple public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Solid understanding of containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiar with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and incident management.
• Knowledge of networking (VPCs, subnets, VPNs, firewalls) and DevSecOps practices.
• Interest in continuous learning in cybersecurity and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage hybrid cloud infrastructures in Microsoft Azure (IaaS & PaaS).
• Automate deployments using IaC and Configuration-as-Code tools.
• Provision, maintain, and scale cloud resources with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor resource utilization for cost efficiency and scalability.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, apps, and systems; perform root cause analysis.
• Ensure security, compliance, and operational standards within a DevSecOps framework.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and integrate infrastructure automation into the development lifecycle.
• Implement containerization and orchestration for microservices (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Configure and maintain monitoring tools for availability and performance.
• Identify optimizations to reduce latency and improve uptime.
• Apply IAM, network segmentation, and encryption best practices for hybrid clouds.
• Assist in audits and compliance initiatives (RMF, NIST, ISO 27001).
• Provide Tier-2/3 support and collaborate with internal teams and vendors.
• Document procedures and configurations to aid knowledge sharing.
