Job summary

Kehoe Designs is seeking an Event Technical specialist to support AVL, staffing, and on-site event execution. This hands-on role requires coordinating crews, managing staffing needs and schedules, and assisting with event setup and strike across live productions.

This position blends office-based planning with on-site duties, with Tuesday–Saturday schedule and evenings/weekends as needed. You’ll troubleshoot AVL issues, track hours, and collaborate with teams to ensure flawless show delivery and

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of live event production in AVL.
• Experience coordinating or staffing event crews.
• Hands-on, on-site live event experience required.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support related to AVL and other event production needs.
• Support live events from planning through setup, show runs, and strikes.
• Work on-site to assist with event setup, equipment, logistics, and crew needs.
• Support AVL equipment, inventory, subrentals, and production logistics.
• Help troubleshoot last-minute AVL and production issues and find quick, practical solutions.
• Coordinate event staffing, schedules, freelancers, and crew communication.
