Job summary

Delta Center is seeking a Technical Services team member to maintain and repair the facility's technical equipment and assist in setting up events. You will coordinate with event staff to ensure smooth load in and load out and troubleshoot audio, video, and communications issues during events.

The role requires a practical mindset, basic math skills, and a willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays while prioritizing safety and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in audio, video, electronics, and mechanical equipment preferred.
• Critical thinking skills and ability to troubleshoot problems.
• Technical support for live and public events preferred.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
• Guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair the facility's technical equipment and ensure quality control.
• Coordinate with event management for load in/out of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues with audio, video and communications during events.
• Perform regular maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Assist in the setup of events at the Delta Center.
• Set up and take down communications equipment for events.
• Support general building maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Prioritize safety for employees, teams, and guests.
• Uphold Delta Center values and mission in daily duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
