Job summary

Tyler Technologies is seeking a Service Engineer to serve as a frontline support representative for FTR products within court environments. You will diagnose hardware and software issues, support AV systems, and maintain documentation. The role includes on-site visits, after-hours support, and travel up to 25%.

Strong communication, troubleshooting, and AV installation skills are essential. Responsibilities include configuring portable AV solutions, maintaining asset registers, and ensuring SLA

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with hardware, audiovisual and/or digital audio systems.
• Formal training with installed AV systems and AV over IP troubleshooting.
• Understanding of AV concepts, signal flow and troubleshooting in integrated systems.
• Ability to read schematics for troubleshooting guidance.
• Experience installing hardware and cabling, mounting displays, video conferencing systems, and terminating cables. Soldering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues with FTR solutions.
• Conduct proactive support and maintenance of AV equipment and software at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot and repair audio recording systems, microphones, DSPs and cabling.
• Configure and deploy portable AV and recording solutions as needed.
• Document case details and maintain asset registers and knowledge base articles.
• Maintain progress updates on incidents and tasks; meet SLAs.
• Travel up to 25% as required and be available for after-hours support when needed.
