Job summary

Tyler Technologies is seeking a Service Engineer to enhance customer experience by serving as a frontline representative and helping clients use FTR products within court environments. You will diagnose hardware/software issues, conduct proactive AV maintenance, and support video conferencing and recording solutions at client sites across Phoenix and beyond.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with hardware, AV and/or digital audio systems.
• Formal training with installed AV systems and troubleshooting AV over IP.
• Understanding of AV concepts, signal flow and troubleshooting in integrated systems.
• Ability to read schematic drawings to guide troubleshooting.
• Experience installing hardware and cabling, mounting displays, video conferencing systems, and repairing infrastructure.
• Strong communication of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented documentation in case management systems and internal docs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues involving FTR solutions.
• Conduct proactive support and maintenance of installed AV equipment and FTR software at customer sites.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of audio recording systems, microphones, DSPs, cabling, and multimedia equipment.
• Troubleshoot and support legacy equipment as required.
• Configure and deploy portable AV and recording solutions as needed.
• Maintain accurate reporting and asset registers across client installations.
• Provide regular progress updates for incidents and tasks and meet SLAs.
• Develop hardware and troubleshooting documentation for the knowledge base.
