Job summary
Actalent is seeking an Industrial Detailer/Drafter in York, PA to develop detailed fabrication and erection drawings for structural steel, miscellaneous metals, and mechanical components for heavy industrial projects. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, fabrication teams, and shop personnel to ensure precise, efficient execution on multiple projects.
The successful candidate will have an Associate Degree or Technical Certificate in CAD/Engineering tech, strong AutoCAD
Qualifications
- Associate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent in CAD/Engineering tech required.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and ability to read construction drawings.
- Experience with MS Office and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed shop, fabrication, and erection drawings for structural steel and components.
- Interpret drawings and specifications; develop fabrication drawings from design docs.
- Coordinate with PMs, engineers, and shop personnel; respond to RFIs and deadlines.
- Ensure drawings meet project requirements and quality standards.
