Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting seeks a Steel Detailer for a family-owned steel fabrication company in Schuylkill Haven, PA. You will develop fabrication-ready shop drawings for architectural and miscellaneous metals and collaborate with experienced professionals to ensure design intent is accurately translated into fabrication instructions.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of steel detailing and knowledge of AutoCAD, with readiness to work onsite.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in steel detailing or steel construction drafting
• Proficient with AutoCAD and able to interpret architectural drawings
• Willing to work onsite in Schuylkill Haven, PA

Responsibilities

• Review architectural and design drawings, takeoffs and specifications
• Create detailed shop drawings for stairs, railings, ornamental metalwork, and other metal components
• Submit shop drawings for architect review and revise as needed
• Release approved drawings to fabrication shop
• Coordinate with drafting team to maintain drawing accuracy and production readiness
• Manage assigned projects through detailing and approval process
