Job summary

Capital Ford of Charlotte is seeking an experienced Automotive Mobile Technician to join our team. You will travel to customer locations, perform on-site maintenance and repairs, and deliver a superior customer experience.

You will work independently with the backing of a dealership while enjoying variety and ownership of your work. Ideal candidates have automotive technician experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

Automotive technician with mobile service experience preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time in the field.
Experience using automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Professional communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
ASE certifications or related technical certs are a plus.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer locations and perform on-site automotive service and repairs.
Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections).
Identify maintenance/repair needs during vehicle inspections.
Diagnose issues and complete repairs and component replacements.
Explain services and repairs clearly to customers.
Maintain organized inventory of tools and parts.
Follow safety standards and keep workspace clean.
Support team as needed.
