Job summary

Care Partners At Home is seeking an Authorization Coordinator to manage the authorization lifecycle for Regional Center clients in a full-time, on-site role.

You will collaborate with families, caregivers, and insurance representatives to ensure timely renewals, accurate hours, and compliant service authorizations, while maintaining CRM records and supporting care transitions. Qualifications

• Experience in authorization coordination or related disability services role.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and professional communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and internet apps.
• College degree preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass a federal background check.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of service authorizations from initial requests to renewals.
• Track utilization to maximize approved hours.
• Verify service hours are applied correctly and in compliance with guidelines.
• Maintain accurate authorization records in CRM.
• Ensure processes comply with state regulations and Regional Center requirements.
• Serve as primary contact for authorization inquiries from families and Regional Center representatives.
• Provide timely updates to families and caregivers regarding statuses.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, families, and Regional Center representatives.
• Collaborate with Intake and Operations to ensure authorization accuracy and smooth care transitions.
• Provide feedback to improve the authorization process and overall efficiency.
