Job summary

Cox Automotive USA in Statesville, NC is seeking a Virtual Block Specialist I to support auction day operations on-site at a Cox location. This part-time role handles data entry, verification of sold vehicle information, and coordination with the auctioneer and client services team.

Approximately 15–20 hours per week (Tue, Wed, Thu) with daytime shifts. Requires good communication, problem solving, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Generally, less than 2 years of experience.
• Effective communication skills required.
• Must possess good problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain focused and composed during fast-paced sale-day activities.

Responsibilities

• Record lane and Simulcast bid amounts in AS400.
• Verify information with auctioneer to ensure accuracy.
• Verify vehicle run order and sell details.
• Operate monitor remotely with the auctioneer.
• Provide arbitration and vehicle announcements to support auctioneer.
• Call and email on late titles.
• Use Salesforce for title absent support.
• Respond to customer requests through multiple channels.
