Job summary

ProSource Group in New York City is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the delivery of commercial interior fit-out projects. Reporting to the Lead Superintendent, you will help coordinate daily site operations, subcontractors, work sequencing, safety and quality, while developing field leadership skills on a fully on-site role.

You will review drawings and specifications, monitor progress, support look-ahead planning, and coordinate deliveries, materials, and site logistics.

Qualifications

Two years of relevant construction field experience.
Experience with commercial interior fit-out projects.
Ability to read drawings and understand trade sequencing.
Strong communication and organization skills.
Comfortable coordinating subcontractors.
Must be able to work on-site in New York City.

Responsibilities

Assist the Lead Superintendent with daily site operations and subcontractor coordination.
Monitor progress against schedules and support short-term look-ahead planning.
Coordinate deliveries, materials and site logistics.
Review drawings and specifications to support accurate installation and resolve field issues.
Monitor workmanship and maintain quality standards on site.
Support site safety procedures and maintain an organized working environment.
Maintain daily reports and clear communication with the project team.
Assist with inspections, punch lists and project closeout.
