Job summary

ProSource Group in New York City is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the delivery of commercial interior fit-out projects. Reporting to the Lead Superintendent, you will help coordinate daily site operations, subcontractors, work sequencing, safety and quality, while developing field leadership skills on a fully on-site role.

You will review drawings and specifications, monitor progress, support look-ahead planning, and coordinate deliveries, materials, and site logistics.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant construction field experience.
• Experience with commercial interior fit-out projects.
• Ability to read drawings and understand trade sequencing.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Comfortable coordinating subcontractors.
• Must be able to work on-site in New York City.

Role Overview

An established general contractor is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the delivery of commercial interior fit-out projects in New York City. Reporting to the Lead Superintendent, you will help coordinate daily site operations, subcontractors, work sequencing, safety and quality. This fully site-based position offers the opportunity to develop your field leadership skills while working closely with an experienced Superintendent.

• Comfortable coordinating subcontractors and working closely with a Lead Superintendent.
• Able to work fully on site in New York City.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary of $100,000–$120,000, depending on experience.
