Job summary

NOVO is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to oversee Bay Area construction projects on-site, coordinating schedules, QC, and stakeholder communication among owners, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of building trades with emphasis on MEP systems and can work closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and staff. Growth to Project Manager is supported through ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or construction affiliated fields.
• Minimum of 4 years of commercial construction experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in project management software and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Attend project walks and prepare project documentation.
• Prepare RFPs and analyze subcontractor proposals.
• Generate quantity take-offs for multiple disciplines.
• Coordinate with owner, architect, subcontractors and vendors.
