Job summary

Novo Construction Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to supervise Bay Area projects, oversee schedules, ensure quality, and coordinate with owners, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.

The role emphasizes strong estimating, budgeting, and cost analysis, with solid knowledge of building trades and MEP systems. As a leader reporting to the Project Executive and NOVO ownership, you will supervise project teams and drive on-time, on-budget delivery while promoting safety and collaboration across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• LEED AP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend and coordinate project job walks.
• Prepare Request for Proposals (RFPs).
• Analyze subcontractor proposals and generate bid tabulations.
• Produce quantity take-offs for multiple disciplines.
• Contribute constructability reviews as a Design Team member.
• Lead in bid reviews and interviews.
• Draft Owner/Client contracts and Subcontract agreements.
• Review and prepare owner billings monthly.
• Identify and manage scope and change orders.
• Prepare and present project updates and close-out documents.
• Develop and maintain Master Schedule with the Superintendent.
• Coordinate with Owners, Architects, and Project Team to start up and execute projects.
