Job summary

Albemarle is hiring an Assistant Operator for our Silver Peak Lithium Mine site in Nevada. You will support plant operations, collect samples, manage transfer pumps, and help maintain daily work lists while following safety procedures.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a willingness to work at heights, and the ability to wear a respirator when required. OSHA/MSHA certifications are preferred but not required, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Responsibilities

• Support the Plant Operator with sampling and daily transfers.
• Maintain housekeeping and daily/weekly tasks in the plant.
• Fill in for the Plant Operator as needed and communicate activities.
• Assist other departments to meet company goals.
• Operate safely, work at heights, and participate on the Emergency Response Team.
