Job summary

Sentral is seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our team at a Miami property. This on-site role focuses on resident relations, rent collection, basic bookkeeping, and overseeing maintenance. You will evaluate applicants, negotiate leases, and support office operations.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, detail orientation, and a flexible schedule. Prior leasing or accounting experience is preferred, along with willingness to obtain OSHA certification within six months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; some college preferred.
• At least 1 year in customer service and 1 year of apartment leasing or related accounting experience preferred.
• Must have strong attention to detail and sales ability.
• Willingness to obtain OSHA certification within six months.

Responsibilities

• Uphold standards and policies and deliver excellent customer service.
• Act as General Manager in their absence per guidelines.
• Establish rapport with residents and guests.
• Respond to questions and concerns promptly.
• Manage lease renewals and retention results.
• Maintain accurate monthly commission sheets for bonuses.
• Perform month-end accounting tasks and assist with financial reporting.
• Provide clerical support to the community office.
• Supervise maintenance and custodial teams at the property.
• Assist in monitoring advertising effectiveness and market surveys.
