Reporting to the Assistant Director and the Director of Precollegiate Learner Programs in the Center for Gifted Education at the William & Mary School of Education. The Head Resident Advisors will work closely with the Resident Advisors, On-site Assistant Program Coordinators, Student Support Specialists and CFGE Staff to ensure that the infrastructure is in place to support the program. Head Resident Advisors will provide direct supervision for camp students, 24 hours a day, seven-days a week for the duration of the program. Head Resident Advisors will be required to live in the dorms for the duration of the program. This is a pool position that will only be accessed if needed. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted. We will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.**Job Description:****Required Qualifications:*** High School graduate.* Demonstrated ability to work and multitask effectively in a complex and fast-paced setting.* Organizational leadership experience.* A valid driver’s license.* Ability to complete the William & Mary Golf Cart Training.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Previous residential camp experience.* Experience working with K-12 students.**Conditions of Employment:*** All hourly employees are subject to the limitations of the Virginia Manpower Control Program and total hours worked may not exceed on average 29 hours per week, over the course of a twelve month period beginning May 1 each year.* This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act.
