Job summary

Partners Bank is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager I to lead daily branch operations, oversee teller and customer service staff, and support the Market Manager in staffing and compliance.

You will drive sales of deposits and consumer loans, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to policies while providing excellent customer service to our NH customers. This is an on-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of supervisory, sales, service and operations experience in a financial institution.
• Proficient verbal and written communication.
• Strong customer sales, service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Adapt easily to change and multitask effectively.
• Excellent organizational, problem resolution and computer skills.
• Proven supervisory ability to motivate and direct staff.
• Proficient knowledge of branch, teller and customer services processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily branch operations and ensure staff comply with procedures.
• Ensure branch cash audits and security reports are completed and submitted on schedule.
• Oversee teller and customer service staffing for adequate coverage.
• Coach and cross-train staff in operations, compliance, sales and service.
• Engage in sales activities to promote Partners Bank products to customers and prospects.
• Proficiently sell and service deposit and consumer loan products.
• Participate in preparation and delivery of employee performance evaluations.
• Assist in hiring tellers and customer service staff and manage disciplinary action plans.
• Capably manage branch in Market Manager’s absence.
• Represent the bank at community events and encourage staff involvement.
• Perform additional duties as required.
