Job summary

Akima Global Logistics is seeking a Supply Technician to support the daily receipt, inspection, and processing of Army equipment at a contractor-operated site. You will verify documentation, update property records, and maintain accurate entries in GCSS-Army, DPAS, and LMP systems.

The role emphasizes adherence to AR 710-2/735-5 and DA PAM 710-2-1, safe operation of MHE, strong recordkeeping, and collaboration with unit supply personnel to ensure timely turn-ins and audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant work experience accepted.
• Basic English reading and writing skills.
• Knowledge of Army logistics functions and documentation.
• 2-4 years logistics, warehousing or supply experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Army turn-in, supply or property accountability operations.
• Experience with Army regulations and property records systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Process turn-ins and receipts from Army units in accordance with AR 710-2 and related manuals.
• Verify documentation for accuracy and completeness (DA 1348-1A, DD Form 200, hand receipts).
• Maintain accountability and update property records in logistics systems.
• Operate MHE and maintain safe storage practices in warehouse/yard.
• Coordinate with unit supply personnel and QA/transportation staff to ensure timely processing.
• Support audits and property accountability reviews as required.
