B&A in Northern Virginia seeks an Application Developer/Programmer to support a federal government client. This full-time, on-site role requires skills across Java/J2EE stack, web and database development, and strong documentation. TS/SCI with FS Poly is required; multiple experience levels are described with a clear pathway from entry to SME.

Salary range $120,000–$250,000 applies. Anticipated start in Sept/Oct 2026 with a 1 Base Year + 4 Option Years; on-site in Northern Virginia; vast

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Active TS/SCI with FS Poly adjudicated within last five years.

Responsibilities

• Develops, tests, implements, and maintains web and database applications across the full software development life cycle.
• Translates user requirements into end-to-end application/database designs with multiple interfaces.
• Programs in project-relevant languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, J2EE, JSP, HTML, XML, Spring, Hibernate, CSS, JavaScript, Tomcat, Git).
• Troubleshoots and resolves defects; documents requirements, procedures, and reports; communicates technical protocols to stakeholders.
