Job summary

Koniag Government Services is seeking a Java Developer with a TS/SCI clearance to support government clients in Vienna, VA. The role requires design, development, testing, and deployment of applications in a fast-paced environment with Agile Scrum processes.

The position is hybrid, with three on-site days per week and one telework day, and includes a strong focus on documentation and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of related experience, expertise in large-scale database

Qualifications

• 4+ years related experience.
• Experience in an operational environment with changing priorities.
• Expertise in information system design and development for large-scale databases and complex software.
• Prefer NoSQL databases.
• Prefer Java Programmer Certified.

Responsibilities

• Accurately represent customer requirements and translate them into software specifications.
• Write and maintain code using Java, JavaScript, XQuery, Python, HTML, SQL.
• Analyze applications and design specifications; develop block diagrams and logic flows.
• Translate designs into computer software and test/fix the product.
• Provide technical direction to programmers to meet deadlines.
• Assist engineers to interpret requirements and test software components.
• Develop system specifications and contribute to tool design.
