RHF (Retirement Housing Foundation) seeks an Apartment Resident Manager for Marymount Manor, a 40-unit affordable housing community in Tacoma, WA. This on-site position provides a designated one-bedroom apartment and requires residence on-site as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities include overseeing leasing, resident relations, and compliance with HUD/LIHTC programs while managing budgets, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring a safe, welcoming community for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of property management experience, preferably in affordable housing, senior living, or multifamily housing.
• Experience with HUD, LIHTC, or other affordable housing programs preferred.
• Experience with budgets, financial reporting, and property operations.
• Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi or RealPage and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must reside on-site at Marymount Manor as a condition of employment.
• Must successfully complete all pre-employment screening requirements, including reference verification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of daily operations for the property, including leasing, resident relations, and facilities management.
• Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring the financial health of the property by controlling expenses and maximizing occupancy.
• Oversee maintenance staff and coordinate with vendors for repairs, renovations, and preventative maintenance to ensure the property is well-maintained.
• Conduct regular inspections of property, common areas, and individual units to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
• Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and other financial documents related to property operations.
