Job summary

RPM Living seeks a Make Ready technician to prepare vacant apartment units for re-leasing. You will follow a make-ready checklist, perform repairs, and ensure quality standards before resident move-in. The role covers drywall, carpentry, caulking, painting, and basic maintenance tasks on site.

Flexibility is required with a schedule that may include weekdays, nights, and weekends. The position emphasizes safety, efficiency, and delivering strong customer service to residents and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or related experience is preferred.
• General knowledge in skilled trades including construction, repair, drywall, basic carpentry, and make-ready.

Responsibilities

• Follows the make-ready checklist to complete repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move-in, as directed by the Supervisor or manager.
• Inspects sheetrock and makes repairs; caulks and seals windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers; and performs touch-up paint.
• Maintains an inventory of supplies and equipment needed for make-ready tasks.
• Cuts expenses by fixing rather than replacing parts and avoiding waste of supplies.
• Assists with property curb appeal by cleaning, pressure-washing, and painting as needed.
