Bryten in Goodyear, AZ, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our apartment community safe, comfortable, and well-maintained. You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs, while ensuring timely responsiveness to residents and our team.

You will perform preventive maintenance, prepare units for new residents, and participate in an on-call rotation. Strong problem-solving, communication, and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment or facilities maintenance.
• HVAC certification preferred; additional industry certifications are a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and maintenance work orders promptly and courteously.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, and other building systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on community buildings and equipment.
• Prepare vacant homes for new residents (make-ready).
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, amenities, and equipment for safety and maintenance needs.
• Assist with on-call emergencies as required.
• Maintain curb appeal and inventory of supplies.
• Document work orders and inspections accurately.
