Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience (apartment industry preferred).
• High School Diploma preferred; trade school certification highly desired.
• EPA Type I/II/Universal certification strongly preferred.
• Demonstrate knowledge of technical skills related to apartment maintenance.
• Handle tile work, carpentry, and make-ready processes.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other systems.
• Dependable transportation and ability to accommodate rotating on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests promptly.
• Coordinate with maintenance supervisor and team to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
• Identify safety hazards and report or correct them.
• Perform preventative maintenance on community equipment.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and complete repairs.
• Maintain community appearance (lighting, trash removal, painting, repairs).
• Document service requests and maintenance in Onesite.
• Perform electrical and plumbing work as required.
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, notices, and inspections.
