Job summary

Student Quarters is seeking a full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician in Austin, TX. The role is non-exempt/hourly with a schedule Monday to Friday and on-call duties, including occasional weekends.

You will perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to protect the property's value and keep residents satisfied. Responsibilities include responding to service requests, maintaining safety standards, and assisting the Maintenance Supervisor in inventory, preventive maintenance, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write English fluently.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must have reliable transportation due to on-call and emergency responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent customer service.
• Ensure all service requests and repairs are completed thoroughly and in a timely manner.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with monitoring inventory of equipment, tools, parts, and supplies at appropriate levels.
• Comply with all personnel management policies and procedures.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule.
• Communicate effectively with residents, fellow employees, vendors, and supervisors.
• Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain an effective preventative maintenance program.
