Job summary

AIR Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to work onsite at Burano Hunter's Creek in Orlando, FL. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, HVAC, and other building systems while delivering superior resident service.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in apartment communities, facilities maintenance, hospitality engineering, commercial buildings, or related environments.
• Demonstrated skills in at least two technical trades, including plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, carpentry, or similar disciplines.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, emergency call coverage, and rotating on-call responsibilities.
• Reliable transportation for after-hours emergency response when scheduled for on-call duty.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and work with maintenance equipment and materials.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and support fellow team members
• Complete apartment turns according to AIR standards to create outstanding move-in experiences
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, HVAC equipment, and other building systems
• Complete service requests efficiently while maintaining high quality workmanship
• Assist with move-in and move-out inspections as needed
• Support vendor coordination and quality control efforts when assigned
• Provide guidance, training, and technical support to less experienced technicians when appropriate
• Adapt to seasonal priorities and community needs while helping maintain a safe, well-maintained property
