Job summary

Froedtert Health seeks an Anesthesia Technician to assist anesthesia providers in the operating room and procedural areas. You will help with patient intubation support, equipment setup, and basic patient care under anesthesia staff direction.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with an Associate degree preferred. Experience in direct patient care and BLS certification within 90 days is expected while working on a full-time, on-site schedule at Froedtert Hospital.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication with teammates, physicians, and patients.
• Able to organize, prioritize tasks, and cope with pressure in a busy OR.
• Associates degree preferred, high school diploma required, relevant anesthesia tech pathway advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia providers in the operating/procedural room.
• Support anesthesiologist during patient intubation and prep of equipment.
• Perform blood analysis and ensure anesthesia equipment is set up and functioning.
• Provide basic patient care tasks per direction of anesthesia staff.
