Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Project/Construction Manager to serve as the on-site inspector for AML/AMD reclamation projects, primarily in northern West Virginia, with potential work across PA, OH, and KY. You will ensure work complies with plans, permits, and owner requirements, and maintain required inspection reports for WV DEP.

Qualifications

• B.S. in an engineering or construction related field.
• 5 years AML/AMD, commercial, industrial, or oil & gas construction experience.
• EIT or similar technical designation preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel).
• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• Ability to work with contractors and other professionals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison with contractors, landowners, design engineers, and state agencies (e.g., WV DEP).
• Provide guidance and oversight to on-site contractors.
• Oversee execution of specifications detailing client requirements and codes.
• Monitor construction to ensure conformance with plans and regulations.
• Review submittals (shop drawings, RFIs) and coordinate with engineers.
• Address issues timely and cost-effectively.
• Document progress with daily/weekly reports and photos.
