Job summary

The Thrasher Group seeks an AML Resident Project Representative (RPR) to oversee Land Development projects across West Virginia. You will manage construction oversight, documentation, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication for Abandoned Mine Lands reclamation efforts.

Travel to project sites with extended weekly stays; collaborate with WVDEP, engineers, and contractors. 3–5 years of relevant experience and AML knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant construction or field inspection experience.
• Experience with AML projects and/or mine reclamation work highly desirable.
• OSHA 10, CPR, and first aid certifications highly desirable.
• Knowledge of construction means and methods related to mass earthwork and stormwater.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction progress, adherence to plans, and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of project quantities, daily reports, and changes.
• Keep accurate redline and as-built drawings to document project modifications.
• Monitor work to identify and prevent construction defects.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards and specifications.
• Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders, including WVDEP, engineers, and contractors.
• Travel to project sites as needed, including extended stays away from home during the week.
• Support projects in other markets between AML assignments.
