Qualifications

• 1+ year or more of hands-on general accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles

• Eager to learn and take on a range of responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Help with day-to-day general accounting and bookkeeping
• Support accounts receivable work, including invoicing and tracking customer payments
• Support accounts payable work, including processing vendor invoices and preparing payments
• Apply incoming payments and match them to open invoices
• Do account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Help with monthly closing tasks and prepare supporting schedules
• Keep financial records and documentation accurate and organized
• Work with internal departments to resolve billing and payment questions
• Support the accounting team on other projects and requests as needed
