• Do account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Help with monthly closing tasks and prepare supporting schedules
• Keep financial records and documentation accurate and organized
• Work with internal departments to resolve billing and payment questions
• Support the accounting team on other projects and requests as needed

$26.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on experience

Work Schedules

Monday through Friday, standard business hours. Overtime is rarely needed.

Summary

An established, Japanese-affiliated international logistics and freight forwarding company in the South Bay area is hiring an Accounting Specialist for its accounting team. The company supports global shipping, warehousing and transportation for its customers. The role starts as a temporary assignment and can lead to a permanent position. It suits an early-career accounting professional who wants hands‑on exposure to the full accounting cycle. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Eager to learn and take on a range of responsibilities

Preferred

• Conversational Japanese (the accounting team includes Japanese‑speaking members)
• Exposure to AP, AR or payment application work (not required)
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems
• Background in logistics, freight forwarding or transportation
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
