Job summary

Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions in Carson, CA seeks a bilingual English/Japanese Accounting Specialist to join our logistics client. You will support daily accounting tasks including AR, AP, cash apps, reconciliations, and GL activities.

A bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of accounting experience are required; QuickBooks Online is a plus. This is a full-time, in-person role with excellent benefits including a 401(k).

Qualifications

• QuickBooks Online experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process daily cash receipts, checks, ACH and wire transactions.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices and maintain records.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on balances.
• Assist with accounts payable processing and vendor inquiries.
• Reconcile company credit card transactions and supporting records.
• Support month-end closings, GL activities and reconciliations.
• Assist with fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions as assigned.
• Provide accounting support to Sales and Operations teams.

A logistics company is seeking a Bilingual English/Japanese Accounting Specialist to join their company in Carson, CA. This position is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash application, reconciliations, and general accounting support. Need to speak conversational Japanese language skill, A bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of accounting work experience is required. QuickBooks experience is preferred but not required. • -Process and record daily cash receipts, checks, ACH, and wire transactions
• -Prepare and issue customer invoices and maintain customer account records
• -Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances
• -Assist with accounts payable processing, vendor inquiries, and payment support
• -Maintain and reconcile company credit card transactions, receipts, and related records
• -Support monthly account reconciliations and general ledger activities
• -Assist with month-end closing procedures and reporting tasks
• -Assist with fixed asset tracking, reconciliation, and supporting schedules
• -Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
• -Reconcile intercompany transactions as assigned
• -Support sales and operational teams regarding accounting-related inquiries
• -Assist with petty cash tracking and reconciliation
• -Perform ad hoc accounting and administrative duties as assigned
• -Must have bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Finance preferred)
• -Must speak conversational Japanese
• -At least 1 year of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting support experience preferred
• -QuickBooks Online experience preferred
