Job summary

Crown Automotive Group is seeking an on-site Accounting / Billing Clerk to join our consolidated Accounting Office. This full-time role requires accuracy, multitasking, and strong time management in a fast-paced environment serving multiple store locations.

Automotive dealership experience is preferred. The successful candidate will handle logs, processing, and posting of transactions, and maintain documentation while upholding Crown policies and compliance.

Qualifications

• Typing, calculator, and general computer skills required.
• Basic knowledge of 10-key keypad operations.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to stay professional under stress.
• Attention to detail, teamwork, and communication.
• Automotive or dealership experience preferred.
• PBS knowledge is a plus.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Access, complete, and maintain logs of critical retail sale information.
• Edit incoming deal paperwork for Crown policy and state/federal guidelines.
• Prepare and ship contract packages to designated lenders.
• Post retail deals and other transactions to apply funds to accounts.
• Process dealer trades of new car inventory and follow up for MSO/payment.
• Write payoff checks for incoming trade units and ensure title or lien release receipt.
• Prepare aftermarket warranties for activation and process refunds.
• Maintain professional intercompany communication to resolve errors.
• File/scan completed deals and ensure digital records.
• Review/reconcile accounting schedules as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
