Job summary

Orion Environmental, LLC in Denver, CO is seeking a full-time Abatement / Demolition Estimator. The role reviews project plans, site conditions, and specifications to prepare accurate estimates for asbestos, lead, mold abatement, and demolition projects.

You will perform site visits, gather quantity takeoffs, analyze labor, equipment, and material costs, and prepare detailed bid proposals and budgets. The estimator collaborates with project managers, field supervisors, and clients to define

Qualifications

Experience in estimation and project planning, including quantity takeoffs and bid preparation.
Knowledge of environmental abatement and demolition practices, including asbestos, lead and mold regulations and safe work methods.
Proficiency with spreadsheets, estimating software, and basic project management tools.

Responsibilities

Review project plans, site conditions, and specifications to prepare accurate estimates for asbestos, lead, mold abatement, and demolition projects.
Perform site visits and gather quantity takeoffs; analyze labor, equipment, and material costs to prepare detailed bid proposals and budgets.
Collaborate with project managers, field supervisors, and clients to clarify scope, assess risks, and ensure estimates align with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Track bid outcomes and maintain pricing databases; support preconstruction planning and contract negotiations.
