National Youth Advocate Program seeks an experienced Crisis Clinician to provide on-site crisis intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization services for adults and children in behavioral health crisis. You will work alongside first responders and law enforcement, utilizing the Whole Person Approach to wellness and making timely referrals for follow-up care.

The role involves on-scene assessments, follow-up visits, and potential on-call scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field from a CSWE accredited college or university (required).
• Proven crisis response experience or related background (substance abuse, juvenile justice, advocacy, mental health).
• Proficient with standard computer software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases).

Responsabilités

• Provide live crisis support for individuals at imminent risk or in need of immediate resources.
• Perform crisis intervention, emotional support, and transportation services for families and adults.
• Assess risk using validated tools and contact first responders when needed.
• Schedule intake and outpatient follow-up appointments and coordinate referrals.
• On-site work alongside first responders and collaborate with local law enforcement and social services.
