Job summary

Leadpoint in Plano, TX is hiring General Labor / On-Route Helper to assist drivers on residential routes. You’ll earn $17.50 per hour with full-time hours. Morning shift available and growth potential through internal promotions.

Responsibilities include loading waste, assisting the driver, keeping the vehicle clean, ensuring safe, courteous service to customers, and abiding by safety policies. Must be 18+, able to lift 50 lbs, pass background and drug checks, and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Prior general labor or waste/recycling experience is a plus, but not required.
• We need reliable, detailed and safety-oriented On-Route Helpers who:

Responsibilities

• Assist the Driver on designated routes by riding along and providing support.
• Climb on and off vehicle to load refuse, waste and poly carts; lift and carry trash bags and containers to the truck for disposal.
• Ride on the vehicle to assist the Driver while servicing residential customers on a designated route.
• Operate packing mechanism and various controls to activate lifting and loading equipment.
• Clean waste residue from the packer blade and truck body after each disposal trip; also, sanitize the hopper and truck as necessary.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers, dispatchers, and others to ensure timely, thorough and exceptional service delivery.
• Monitor waste for any unacceptable materials during collection.
• Uphold productivity standards to ensure efficient service delivery to all customers.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Fulfill other duties and tasks as assigned.
