Job summary

UPS is seeking a qualified supervisor in Raleigh, NC to oversee service providers and on-road employees, ensuring safe, timely package delivery and high performance. The role requires DOT certification, previous package car driving, and supervisory experience.

You will manage dispatch, coach staff, and enforce health, safety, and regulatory standards while maintaining strong customer relationships and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or current UPS employee with three years UPS experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship not offered.
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to Raleigh, NC; able to work 7:00–19:00, Tue–Sat.
• Must have prior package car driving experience and supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs (32 kg) and operate Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily performance of service providers to ensure quality and safety.
• Develop and maintain effective customer relationships and respond to concerns.
• Improve operations using the daily dispatch plan and audits.
• Conduct risk management and safety compliance activities.
• Lead workforce planning and identify training needs for staff.
• Perform performance evaluations and provide coaching.
